I always carries a lot of followers with me so I can't have smp objects on them otherwise I'll have 0 FPS. I hope you can introduce non smp version of this outfit!

Oh no, that's horrible. Are you using Faster SMP? I give these outfits to all sorts of random NPCs all over the game and followers when in town, never seem to have a drop anymore with SMP these days. I would also take a look at Engine Fixes.
